 Our Learning:

We drew and wrote about our May long weekend with our substitute teacher on Tuesday, who reported that the students were "amazing!"  On Wednesday and Thursday we were very Math focused.  The children represented the number 9 in a wide variety of ways and then they continued with measuring.  Students had to find and record classroom objects that were shorter, longer and the same size as a ruler.  In gym we continued to work on throwing, catching and beginner badminton skills.


Upcoming Exciting News!

We are having a FULL day zoo field trip, which means one class attends the full day and the second day the other class attends.  Field trip permission trip forms with payment and informational details will come soon!

June 21 – AM Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip. (NO school for PM class)

June 22 – PM Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip. (NO school for AM class)

  Our Learning: This week we created a classroom book called "We LOVE Ms. T". The children were very thoughtful in sharing all the reasons why they love Ms. T.  The pictures they drew were detailed and carefully colored. The English kindergarten was so fortunate to have such a caring, organized and hard working teacher!  Ms. T will be missed.💜  This week we also read several versions of the Gingerbread man.  The children sequenced the characters and event of the story and we are beginning to talk about what makes a good storyteller.   Dates to Remember: March 13 – Daylight Savings – “Spring Ahead” Monday, March 14 – Tuscany School Unique Sock Day Thursday, March 17 – Wear Green Day Friday, March 18 - AM Class attends 8:30 to 12:40 March 21–25 Spring Break No School  Wednesday, March 30 - Coulee Trip (3 parent volunteers needed per class).  The sign up genius will be coming soon!

  Our Learning: This week we reviewed what it means to fill and dip from a bucket based on the book, "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" and we did an art project based on the zones of regulation.  We all want to be socially strong as we head into summer and then grade one.  We also worked on our Father's Day activity, ordered dice from smallest to largest and observed our chrysalis'.
