  Our Learning: We drew and wrote about our May long weekend with our substitute teacher on Tuesday, who reported that the students were "amazing!"  On Wednesday and Thursday we were very Math focused.  The children represented the number 9 in a wide variety of ways and then they continued with measuring.  Students had to find and record classroom objects that were shorter, longer and the same size as a ruler.  In gym we continued to work on throwing, catching and beginner badminton skills. Upcoming Exciting News! We are having a FULL day zoo field trip, which means one class attends the full day and the second day the other class attends.  Field trip permission trip forms with payment and informational details will come soon! June 21 – AM Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip . (NO school for PM class) June 22 – PM Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip.   Our Learning: We had a lot going on this week with a science experiment called "Walking Water", Stuffy Measurement, badminton skills in gym, tally practice in Math and continued discussion about DOMESTIC and WILD animals.  Please take some time to ask your child about what their favorite activity was. We certainly covered a lot!
